Summary:

Work directly with juvenile offenders between the ages of 11-17 whom are living in our new Bronx group home while awaiting court adjudication. Under the supervision of the Site Director and Shift Supervisor, the Youth Specialist I will provide exceptional quality services to the residents.

Responsibilities:

• Managing residents' behavior with the end goal teaching the youth to make positive and lasting changes in their behaviors
• Maintaining the safety and security of all residents and upholding the rules and principles of the home.
• Ensuring that all residents maintain proper hygiene, physical activity, nutrition, wellness, and daily activities. 

Skills/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• Valid NYS Driver's License heavily preferred
• Prior experience with group home population preferred

Compensation:

$12.25/hr  (non-negotiable); Overtime eligible
